Science in the Glorious Quran: Lava in the Sea Water

.”وَالسَّقْفِ الْمَرْفُوعِ. وَالْبَحْرِ الْمَسْجُور” (الذاريات:5-6)

“By the elevated Heavens and the sea sitting on bed fire” (Qur’an, 52: 5-6).

“By the elevated Heavens and the sea, filled [with fire].” (Qur’an, 52:5-6)

Modern geology discovered stretching faults within the Earth’s crust at great depths beneath the sea. The cracks within the faults allow molten lava to gush through into the sea water. Lava may also gush from active volcanoes in deep-sea water as described in the above verse.
