What does it mean to love the Prophet?

How to love our prophet Mohammed PBUH more?

Say, [O Muhammad], “If you should love Allah, then follow me, [so] Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.”

Following the Sunnah of the prophet Mohammed PBUH

Doing just some little Sunnah is better than showing diligence in ‘bidaah’

If we followed the prophet PBUH And studied his life and his behaviors

How was he as a husband? How was he as a neighbor? How was he as a teacher?

How was he as a student when he had to sit with Jibreel to listen and memorize the Quran?

How was he in victory? How was he in hardship?

How was he with permissibles? How was he with children? How was he with elderly people?

Abu Bakr brought his father Abu Kuhafa to the prophet PBUH when he wanted to accept Islam

He was an 80-year-old blind man

Mohammed PBUH said to Abu Bakr: “Couldn’t you kept him sitting where he was and I would have visited him?”

From what Allah has given him and his greatness

The elders used to ennoble the prophet PBUH and respect him

And children used to get attached to him

May Allah let us be among his followers
