Hajar – the wife of Ibrahim and mother of Ismail, peace be upon them, – was a strong and very special woman. To commemorate her commitment and trust in Allah, anyone preforming the islamic pilgrimage (Umrah or Hajj) must follow her footsteps and walk 7 times between the hills Safa and Marwa.
