Why do Muslims love the Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau?

While Islamophobes rising to power and spreading hate in the West, it is always refreshing to see a leader supporting Muslims and making them feel welcome, rather than collectively blaming them for the acts committed by radicalized terrorists.
Justin Trudeau has served the prime minister of Canada since 2015 and has been the leader of the Liberal Party since 2013. The Canadian Prime Minister is popular not only for Muslims but also for all emigrants. He is non-racist and a people’s person.
Therefore, Muslims love Trudeau and appreciate his warm feelings to all the members of the Canadian Society. Besides, Trudeau fights those who sow fear and hate because he wants a united coherent Canadian Society with no divisions.
The following are some reasons which demonstrate why Muslims love Trudeau.
1. He welcomes Muslim refugees rejected by the U.S.
The U.S. President Donald Trump spreads hate for emigrants. He signed an executive order that restricts immigration from several Muslim-majority countries. Trudeau stood in solidarity with Muslims and tweeted at the time.
“To those fleeing persecution, terror & war, Canadians will welcome you, regardless of your faith. Diversity is our strength #WelcomeToCanada,”
His government also offered temporary residency to anyone directly affected by the ban.
2. He show solidarity with Muslim community
When a white supremacist terrorist attacked a mosque in Quebec, Canada, Trudeau gave a powerful speech assuring firm solidarity with Muslims.
“Last night’s horrible crime against the Muslim community was an act of terror committed against Canada, and against all Canadians,” he said in response to the attack. “We will grieve with you. We will defend you. We will love you. And we will stand with you.”
He also twitted:

3.He encourages tolerance and acceptance of others
Trudeau denounced the opposition groups that launched a campaign against Muslim students performing Friday prayers in Canadian schools. He supported Muslims’ right to pray.
“We, of course, need to continue to work to ensure that everyone understands that respecting their neighbours, that moving beyond mere tolerance, towards acceptance and friendship is the path that Canada needs to continue on”.
4.He fights Islamophobia
He always fights Islamophobia and highlights the fact that the values of Muslims and Canadian principles are the same.
“Our government will always stand with you and all Muslim Canadians in condemning Islamophobia and all forms of hate at home and abroad”.
5. He shares Muslims their celebrations
Justin Trudeau wore Muslim-themed socks at the Pride parade which coincided with Eid El-Fitr that marks the end of Ramadan. The socks, read “Eid Mubarak” in Arabic which means blessed Feast and included the crescent.
In Eid El-Fitr, Trudeau sufficed with noting the importance of Ramadan and paid tribute to Muslims’ contributions to Canada.
6. He joins Muslims their prayers in mosques
Trudeau has visited mosques even before he was elected a leader of the Liberal Party in 2013. He even put a traditional Islamic dress. He began his speeches to Muslims in their mosque by greeting Muslim with “peace be upon you”.
7. He doesn’t bother about attacks for his support of Muslims
Because of the solidarity of Justin Trudeau with Muslims he has been under the fire of some media and politicians. However, this has not put him off to support Muslims.
For all the above examples the Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his openness to Islamic values he deserves the love Muslims.
