Islamophobia: First Hijabi MP talks about Islamophobia in Parliament

“I am never allowed to forget that my presence in Parliament, as the first MP to wear hijab, makes many uncomfortable, from the regular mispronounciation of my name to being mistaken for the other hijab-wearing women who work in Parliament, to being asked even, if I am related to Shamima Begum”.
